Geb's first winter? So far, so good.
The cold season has been quite considerate lately. No big snowfall since the most talked-about snow in October-- to everyone's surprise. I can't thank the weather gods enough. Sure, I didn't care about the seasons; warm or cold, before parenthood. Apparently, life's been poles apart. I now bundle up for two!
Weather woes aside.
Presenting, at age eight months today~
Exactly six days before his first Christmas.
Geb is more and more mobile, excited to bust a move by the minute. We are at anything-baby-does-is-amazing phase. Anything Geb does is big news. We laugh. We giggle. We gush about it day-in and day-out. And we celebrate every learned skill, big or small.
He has learned to straighten up his back when we set him down. It would be nice to photograph Geb under the tree~ opening presents, without losing balance as he could hurt himself.
My wish is for the little guy to sit on his own, safely, in time for Christmas or New Year. Santa, pretty please?
Meanwhile, this baby slowly grows fondness over birthday cakes each month.
It's for him, he can tell.
YUMMYness, you are so very few inches away..
Who wouldn't drool? Tell me :)
Oh, Gebbie. In as much as I'd like to see you grow and live a full life, something about what you are now~ I don't want to let go.
Don't grow up on me just yet.
Happy, happy 8th Dodong!
Many, many more birthday cakes to dig~
..and, err, squeeze.
Wanna know an open secret, baby love?
..your little family is certified GEB-a-holic!
You are absolutely, absolutely ADDICTIVE.
