To the Pediatrician this morning.
Little Geb is battling with coug and cold for many weeks now. As you know with babies, it gets worse at night. Brian has been insisting on medication prescribed last week, however, we were also told it could be the kind that heals itself after days. Blame it on the fickle weather. To date, poor Geb has been breathing heavily, with whooping cough and occasional wheez.
A little backstory on little Geb's Pediatrician~
I didn't realize how crucial it is to decide on whose gonna look after my baby's health. How early? They say, even before the baby is born. Although you won't really put much thought on that during pregnancy. Turned out, in my experience, I should've took heed. We've gone through a whole slew of Pedias, before we decided to stick to the current one. You really won't know how painstaking it is until the baby is there. It surprised me that I walked away from a doctor who talks stiff and boring during check-ups. And it surprised me, too, how choosy I can get with waiting rooms. No icky toys, no icky floor please. Geb's gonna crawl and play each appointment. A dirty waiting room is, of course, a complete turn-off. Moral of the story, soon-to-be-Mamas, it's never too early to ask around for a good Pediatrician in your area. It will give you ample time to do interviews, check-out clinics.
A medicated steam to aid heavy breathing.
Praying for a better, healthier days ahead of you, baby love.
